Sometimes I think about what I can do to improve my karma. Have you ever done that? I know that I like to do good deeds because it makes me feel good - I love that warm, fuzzy feeling I get inside. But I'll be honest and admit that sometimes I have ulterior motives and hope that my good deeds are being marked in the great book of Karma in the sky somewhere. :-)
I happened upon ImproveYourKarma.com today and it brought a smile to my face. The guy on here, Sven Goodsson, is a bit goofy - and somewhat of a modern Richard Simmons, in my opinion, but it's obvious he's got a good heart. This guy used to knit 100 sweaters a week for homeless people!
This site is designed to promote Motorola's RED phones that are tied to the RED charity (founded by Bono of U2). A portion of phone use and purchase goes straight to the charity, so you and Sven can both boost your karma levels with this one. And anyone who supports a cause founded by Bono is A-OK in my book.
I'm also having fun playing with some of the features on the site like the "Monitor" section that puts a "karma meter" on your MySpace page and scans all comments to look for good and bad words to deliver a karma rating. Fun! There is also an "Analysis" section which lets you upload photos to scan for key colors, providing you with an aura analysis once it's complete. Neat-o.
I'm off to go build some more good karma!
Hey check out these fun Christmas online games from Blue Mountain - they're so adorable and can be sent as eCards to family and friends. They've got Gingerbread Hangman - cute idea, the Gingerbread man gets eaten as you guess incorrectly, a silly Catch a Snowflake game where you can catch snowflakes on your (virtual) tongue, and Santa's Snow Run where the jolly guy dons a snowboard and gets into some extreme downhill action. I love stuff like this - gets me all jazzed up and in the holiday spirit. These games are free to play and send along, but Blue Mountain also has a free 30-day trial to send unlimited eCards and of course, you could subscribe for an annual rate of $13.99, which is a lot cheaper than buying paper cards and stamps, if you want to go that route. That's really a pretty good deal - my mom does this because she likes to send out eCards to everyone she knows that has a computer - heh!

Ahh, Thanksgiving... a day to eat and relax and spend time with family. And for a lot of people - a day to be bored. ;-) I don't feel that way today, but I know that I have certainly felt that way a lot in the past! I'm sure there might be some boring spots today, too, but I'm not worried about that because I can always come to the computer and play free online games. I love that site because they've got the classic Nintendo games from my childhood - which is perfect on a day like today when we're all feeling nostalgic anyway. I bet my brother would love it if I hooked him up on the site this afternoon after dinner. We could start a competition just like the old days to see who is better. Of course, he always won, and I'm sure that hasn't changed. The fun is in the playing, though, not the winning. Good times.

Is Santa coming to your house this year? Are you sure? Will the kiddies get to catch a glimpse of him in his red suit? I always wanted to have someone dress up for our kids and come over and get them all hyped up before the big day. My kids are too old for that now, but I have nieces and nephews that aren't! I think it would be awesome to do an impromptu "ho ho ho" thing for them.
Check out this site that sells Santa Suits - they've got everything! From traditonal Santa costumes to Mrs. Claus costumes to costumes for kids, pets and mascots and more. Hey... me and the hubby should dress up as Mr. and Mrs. Claus and go over to my brother's. That would be awesome!!
So recovery work can be hard and emotionally draining, right? It's tough stuff!! There needs to be balance in order to not go insane, I think... and so I bring you (and me! LOL) the original, classic Nintento free online games! I so need this today to just escape for a little while from all the seriousness and heaviness of life and go back to a simpler time. To me, as long as this is in moderation, this is just as important as all the hard emotional work. Play is a key factor in my recovery. And play I will - I love me some classic Nintendo! The best part it, the site is easy to use, no complicated sign up processes - just go there and play. Love it. :-) ![]()

Want something fun to pass the time? Check out these tattoo pictures and start ranking them! Yes, you will get stuck over there for longer than you think you will because it's addictive - you've been forewarned! It's fun, though. If you've got tats, you should submit them so there are more pictures to go through and we can all waste even more time there! Ha!
It might be too late to order your costumes for this year's Halloween parties, but I found a site with some excellent fancy dress costumes available. They've got some great ideas on this site with some unique costumes I haven't seen elsewhere.
Check out the Columbia and Frank N. Furter costumes (from the Rocky Horror Picture Show) - now those are different! Love it. They've also got a bunch of disguises that are great for any time of the year. My guys are big fans of masks and so I'm sure we'd spend most of our money in this section. One to bookmark for next year, for sure! ![]()
Two of my girlfriends are coming over tonight - I'm excited! It's so good for my soul to nourish it with friendships. I'm not sure what we'll even do, we'll be here with my boys... maybe we'll watch a movie or do makeup or something. I want to do girlie-girl stuff!
One of the benefits of being at a healthy body weight is the ability to wear sexy outfits without absolutely hating how you look in them. My 14th wedding anniversary is coming up... wouldn't it be great to surprise my honey with an outfit from this sexy lingerie site?
Our original wedding date was supposed to be on Halloween, but it got postponed thanks to the Air Force. As a tribute to that date, though, maybe I could dress up as a sexy witch or sexy pirate. Those would both be great. I bet you haven't seen too many witches or pirates like that out trick or treating! ;-) However, I don't think the kids would appreciate them too much. I need to stick to something that we'll keep behiind closed doors.
I'm more of a traditional girl, so I think I'd like this fishnet camisette set. I just wonder if the outfit is long enough for me since I'm tall. It's only $20, so I guess it would be cheap enough to find out!
My man better watch out! :-)
